2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Venom

Improving on the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is difficult but that hasn’t stopped German tuners Anderson from taking the super-quick Ford back to their shop and reworking it. They’ve called it the Super Venom Edition and fitted it with a body kit that takes the car’s already aggressive appearance to a new level and helps the car’s aerodynamics. A new spoiler, additional side scoops and a new exhaust system complete the look.

To match the wide body kit, Anderson has used black paintwork with red strip to mark thisMustang out from others on the road. Red cobra badges have also been added to the GT500 Super Venom in the grille and on the front wings. Having spent some much time and effort on the interior, Anderson had to do the same inside where the same red and black colour scheme continues. The stitching and stripes along the doors and seats are also coloured red and there’s a wide selection of carbon fibre inserts which bring more black to the interior.

Anderson hasn’t changed the car mechanically, so the 5.8 litre V-8 that’s found under the bonnet of all Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 remains in place. It’s good for a 0-62mph time of around 4.0 seconds and produces 662bhp, but the economy figures are less impressive at just 24mpg.
