Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse

Automobili Lamborghini introduces his Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse, a special version of its fashinating sports car that - in the words of its maker - is meant to ‘deliver high performance and bring the fascination of motor racing to the street’. This new variant will be the most extreme model in the Gallardo line-up and will have its world premiere at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show this fall.

The new Gallardo Squadra Corse is very close to the Gallardo Super Trofeo race car: both share the same V10 engine (producing 570 horsepower at 8,000 rpm) and six-speed e-gear transmission. Together with aluminum, carbon fiber is the basis behind the extremely lightweight construction of the new Gallardo new top model, which boasts a dry weight of just 1340 kg, 70 less than the already lean Gallardo LP 560-4. as a result, it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds, from o to 200 km/h (124 mph) in just 10.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 Km/h (200 mph).

Given its extremely track-oriented approach, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse comes with a pretty minimalist and sporty interior: Alcantara graces the underside of the dashboard, the central panel of the seat cushion and the backrest, while door panels, racing seats and center console cover are made from carbon fiber, which is also used for the handbrake frame, the middle of the center console, the lower rim of the steering wheel, the trim around the main and secondary instrument panels, the door handles, and the handle for opening the glove box.
